Last day of 2008. 2008 hadn't been a good year for myself. Irregardless on work or relationship. Nonetheless, a year had passed despite however much pains, sadness, hardship had came.
Hopefully in the year ahead, everything would be better. I dont need it to be perfect, just better would be good enough.

Checked out the Gucci sale. Browsed LV, Coach, Loewe, Tods, Christine Dior. Nothing caught my eye till i step into Burberry. Im so attracted by the shoulder and speedy bag. But sis advised me not to get the shoulder bag since the shape is like my LV Neverfull. Nonetheless, the bag is $785 and the speedy at $850. Went in and out of the boutique like 4 or 5 times and finally decide i'll give myself more time to think about it. Reason being, i was actually hoping to save up more this month. And thinking back, i had actually spent quite alot on these bags? I gave it a count.
-Neverfull - $1130 -Burberry blue label - $450 -Burberry blue label - $380 -LV Wallet - $440 -Coach tote - $329 -Gucci tote - $420 Adding up, i had spent over 3k on all these. Still, i dunno how long my temptation to get the Burberry speedy would last.
On a happy note, Thanks monster for the blingy starry naval stud. One off my to get list. :) Now, i've got starry on my necklace AND tummy! ^_______^ Got my lenses today too. Picked 3 colors out of the multi selections - Pure Hazel, Brown and Purple. Its less obvious as compared to the other colors like green, blue, grey etc. So its actually two off my to get list today!

This is somehow like a "back to the past" post la. Was packing my stuffs just now and chance upon lots of long ago pictures of me and Jeremie. I guess they looks funny. So.. please pardon it..!
Well, no means of putting up all of his pics, just that the album i found was of me and him. Anyways, more than 7yrs had passed. All the pics are back in 2000 except the last one was in 2001. That was just before we gave our relationship one last chance. I cant imagine how the 1999 ones will look. Have yet to find them. But.. i reallly reallly think i put on far too much weight? TSK! Jeanne, you have any comments since you've known me since then till now? Haha!
i think its sometimes pretty fun looking back into the past and watch how yourself had changed over the years. Perhaps when we grow old, the younger generations will look at our photos like how we look at our parents' times photo and laughed at how obiang they looked..
Spent much of the whole day in bed today. Guess i was only awake for a hour or so to load pictures and play a little of PSP. Was pretty tired. Got home about 0430, slept about 5 odd. Yesterday's ktv wasnt as happening as the usual ones we had. Guess its because we were short of too many people who some were already no longer working with us. Nonetheless, did enjoy everyone's company :)
It was Tomo's 22nd birthday before midnight and Diin's 34th after midnight. So this was a mini celebration for the both of them. For Tomo, its his first birthday in Singapore. Glad to see that big smile on him and of course, Diin and everyone else.
Well, we didnt get our sponsorship for this gathering. This is just FYI. No further comments.

Joke of the day. Joke 1: A guest called and said "i think my tv is tired. it says its going to sleep." and i replied, i'll get the engineering to check on it. And the next thing, he came down to the counter and exaggerate about how he called up and the person told him this and that, till i walked to him and said "sir, im the one who spoke to you". He then says "my tv is still sleeping. please wake it up" -.- Till now, whenever he walk past the counter, he'll make a face to us.
Joke 2 Today a guest called to inform that the facial mirror in the bathroom was dangling cos the screw came loose. And i replied, "i'll get the engineering to go screw it up" And the guest laughed and said OK before hanging up. It was till i turn around and saw another colleague laughing at what ive said THEN i realised ive said something sooo wrong? DAMN!
Joke 3 This happen sometime back. My manager was sharing it due to my "joke of the day"! The engineering was fixing some stuff in the guest room and left their screw driver in the room. The guest returned it to the counter and said "i hope you guys dont mean to screw me." .................
Joke 4 This happen in the lobby shop. A guest came in and asked for what my colleague heard as "anticeptic". She then posed (cos its a cute dude) and pointed to the Dettol anticeptic cream. And the guest said, No, not this. I want "male anticeptic". Just when my colleague was figuring wth was that, the guest said "Ahh... its this." Its the condom he wanted. And he was actually saying "male contraceptive".
Joke 5 A guest came to the counter and complained "There are ants on my bananas!", with his wife staring at him. My manager apologised: "im sorry for the ants on your banana." and the next thing? All of them laughed.
Work been busy. We're back to our 2 person per shift with two trainees gone, and two transfered temporary to Spa for 3months as our revenue aint enough to cover everyone's pay at front office due to the economy crisis. I used to work alone a shift during my trainee and initial full time times. But now, even with two, it seems unless work coming and piling and we're going home later and later everyday, even missing the last transport out of the island.
Lastly, a breaking news. I signed up for a friendly soccer match held by the hotel. Yea i guess i know nuts about the game. But it was just for the fun of it. I think its gonna be a joke to everyone. All the DHs will be there. I cant imagine. Luckily fred isnt going if not gonna be super throw face. But he's still laughing at me!! urghhh!
Alright. Enough for today. Time for bed. KTV tomorrow with the banquet colleagues and 3rd with the front office! Dance! Dance! Dance! And for info, we're actually spending over 1k on this next FO ktv session and surprisingly, my boss says he's gonna sponsor partial payment with the FO fund! Looking forward to the fun!
